On this Father’s Day, we thank you God for all that fathers are doing to guide, lead, and strengthen our children, our churches, our communities, and our nation. We pray God that you would strengthen and give peace to fathers as they work long hours, mow, change diapers, sweep, look for a job, commute, shop, pray, hammer, cook, wash, and repair. Help all fathers turn to you, the God and Father of all.

We pray for all those children whose fathers are or have been unkind or cruel. Protect your children, dear God and send your love to those who have mixed emotions on Father’s Day.

We pray for all those fathers who are sick. Heal them and be with their children and loved ones.

We pray for all those who suffer from any illness or trouble especially….

We pray for all those who have lost fathers. Give your peace to all families who grieve the loss of a father.

We pray for all those who have died especially,…. in the hope of the resurrection, and for all the departed.

Celebrant Heavenly Father, you have promised to hear what we ask in the Name of your Son; Accept and fulfill our petitions, we pray, as you know and love us in your Son Jesus Christ our Lord.
